Unfortunately, our room was right next to the dining room, and the noise early in the morning made it very difficult to sleep in. We also faced challenges with getting inside, as there was no one there when we arrived. In addition, the limited operating shower door was quite inconvenient, which added to our frustration during our stay.

Staying on the first floor, the window faced directly onto the car park, which could be bothersome during busy traffic times. Noise from the dining room became apparent early in the morning, especially if guests aim to sleep in. Additionally, the shower door’s limited opening caused some inconvenience, along with the smaller towels provided not living up to usual standards, lacking bath sheets. A full-length mirror would really enhance the overall functionality of the room.

My stay was nothing short of fantastic! I was there for a quick visit to Drogheda, and the beautiful and spacious room offered the perfect retreat after a long day exploring nearby attractions like St Mary’s Church and Millmount Fort, both just a leisurely walk away. The breakfast was a highlight, especially with such a wide range of options available. I appreciated the thoughtful touches from the host, making the whole experience feel personalized and warm.

The Double Room was really comfy, perfect temperature, and the bed felt great. The bathroom was spacious with nice shower gel and shampoo. Super clean! But, arriving was a bit awkward since no one was there to let us in, and the kettle had some scummy stuff in it. A little strange atmosphere at breakfast too. Overall, the comfort was nice, but some bumps in the road made it less than perfect.

I had a wonderful stay with a spacious room and an engaging host, making it so easy to walk to nearby attractions like st peter's church and millmount fort, both just a short stroll away. i really enjoyed relaxing in the lovely garden area during my downtime so close to the city center, it was the perfect base for my weekend explorations.
